In contrast to this years freezing cold winter camp, it was a scorcher for the first four days of summer camp. We made the most of the weather and went swimming in the outdoor pool on sit (twice!) and spent a whole day cooking on open fires (on the hottest day, probably not the brightest idea!) and made our own waterslide.
And then the rain came! It seems to be a running theme with our summer camps, however, we all donned the waterproofs and got on with it. We spent an afternoon on the zip wire, went out on a days hike in the surrounding area and did another waterslide (well, we were wet anyway so it seemed logical at the time).
All in all it was an enjoyable camp, and it is a site we will definitely visit again!
